This activity will familiarise children with animal colouration, specifically with
camouflage. There are several different types of animal colouration, but the two most
distinct are camouflage and warning coloration. When animals have camouflage
colouration, they are able to blend into their environment and hide from predators.
Grasshoppers are camouflaged green to hide in grass. When animals have warning
colouration, their colours warn potential predators to stay away.

Great ideas, thank you very much. I was looking for an activity to go with my lesson on camouflage/environment.
