Two complete worksheet-and-teacher-note pairs in this free 10-page sample from Literacy Basics: Punctuation.

Exclamation Marks uses illustrated situations to explore the meanings expressed by an exclamation mark. Spotting Full Stops asks students to separate continuous text into sentences. Both activities include teachers’ notes and answers.

The sample also includes the introduction, contents, general teaching guidance and a page of original literacy-support suggestions. It is intended for average to below-average learners, particularly at KS3.

The full 68-page pack contains 29 punctuation worksheets with teachers’ notes, covering sentence punctuation, speech marks, apostrophes, commas, brackets, hyphens, dashes, colons and semicolons, paragraphs and letter layout. Activities emphasise spotting and correcting errors.

The preview images illustrate the full pack and include pages beyond the sample. Original literacy and curriculum references are retained without a claim of current alignment.
