I use this with my pupils in Year 3 to show what I am looking for in their piece of work. This also is used for them to colour the smiley faces if they believe they have achieved the success criteria.
Peers can also assess by colouring in the smiley faces and lastly, as the teacher, I would then colour in the smiley faces to show what they have achieved too.
