Each child decorated their own puzzle piece with things they liked and their name, we talked about how we were all individuals and had decorated the pieces differently. We then put the puzzle pieces as a border around the 'welcome to class 5' and talked about how we were now joined together as one class, each bringing something different to the group. We then displayed it on the class door. 16 puzzle pieces fit around an A4 piece of paper but if you needed more you could double the row or use an A3 sheet of paper.
