Response to Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime

The Office of the Children’s Commissioner welcomes this consultation on the Mayor of London’s Police and Crime Plan 2013-2017. Through our work on youth justice, sexual exploitation, child protection, trafficking, health, education and children’s rights, we are acutely aware of the impact that crime has on the lives of children and young people, and the services in place to support them. We hope that this consultation will contribute to ensuring that the police and crime plan for London acknowledges the victimisation of children and young people.
