Somerset Care, Taunton, is a not-for-profit organisation that views the training and development of staff as a core value at the heart of its success. The company currently employs 286 apprentices - having trained 600 in the last five years through its subsidiary company, Acacia Training. Managers encourage staff of all ages to undertake an Apprenticeship in order to maximise their own potential and develop the skills needed to ensure the quality of care they provide to clients.
