Children are given a set of pictures which are CVC words. Using only the letters at the top of the page, they have to fill in the missing sounds. Mostly it is the initial sound, but in some cases it is the middle or end sound which is missing. All the words are 2 or 3 letter words. I have other sheets like this available for other sounds.
