A review lesson from year 9 Term 1. Basic number facts, Square, cube and prime numbers, HCF and LCM, and some basic algebra. You follow the clock around, starting at 12 o’clock and completing one PPT slide per gap. You set a time limit of 2-5 minutes depending on the complexity of the task an the level of your class. Encourage the students to use their exercise books for reference, to chat about the work to get ideas. Make sure example, questions, diagrams and colour are used. At the end you will have a a beautiful class display or a self made revision sheet for each student. The work can be used for revision for exams or even for a resource for another class. I have attached an example of a different resource so you get the idea.

Review a units work on Angles in a fun, fast passed manner. Get the students to use their exercise books to recap knowledge. The students can use words, definitions, examples, practice questions and colour. You will end up with a great bit of class work to either put on the walls for a display or for the students to use as a revision tool. Its easy, accessible and quick. you just need to print slide 2 on A3 paper.

A multiplication starter with a twist. You multiply the first 2 numbers and then subtract the third. Watch this space for updates and modified verisions.
