Year 9 Review Term 1 - Around the Clock

A review lesson from year 9 Term 1. Basic number facts, Square, cube and prime numbers, HCF and LCM, and some basic algebra.
You follow the clock around, starting at 12 o’clock and completing one PPT slide per gap. You set a time limit of 2-5 minutes depending on the complexity of the task an the level of your class. Encourage the students to use their exercise books for reference, to chat about the work to get ideas. Make sure example, questions, diagrams and colour are used. At the end you will have a a beautiful class display or a self made revision sheet for each student. The work can be used for revision for exams or even for a resource for another class. I have attached an example of a different resource so you get the idea.
