'Snail Mail' - Writing support sheet

A clear and simple postcard writing support sheet designed to help children generate ideas when writing postcards as part of a Snail Mail or letter-writing unit.

This resource supports children during the planning stage of writing by providing structured prompts and example ideas. It is particularly helpful for pupils who find open-ended writing tasks challenging and benefit from clear scaffolding.

Suitable for whole-class use or targeted SEND support.

Each section includes example ideas to support vocabulary development and reduce the cognitive load of planning, without providing full sentences to copy.
