This was intended for a top set year 8 (and worked really well).
They guess what themes are covered with the pictures and are challenged to put all the info in ONE sentence. - Show sample, take it 'apart'.
They then copy and fill in the table and try out their own version(s). I then had A4 cards ready for 2 &'human chain&'; sentences following the structure with just 4 students left as judges - good fun.
the front to back/ back to front guessing game worked well, too.
Could be changed to Future T rather than wish.
