Historian Alf Wilkinson takes the lives of ordinary soldiers at Agincourt as inspiration for an exploration the detail of a famous battle and the world it was fought in, including ideas about chivalry and late medieval beliefs. Students are asked to create a poem exploring this famous battle from the perspective of those who actually saw it happen. This resource has been created to accompany the Agincourt 600 Poetry Competition, a collaboration between Agincourt 600 and The Poetry Society.
