Y6 Romeo and Juliet Moderation Writing Bundle

This writing topic contains six writing tasks each designed to support children in their independent writing. Each piece is moderation ready! This is an English lesson designed for year six extended piece of writing. It can be used in conjunction with any Romeo and Juliet adaption. It is designed on the principles of gradual release of responsibility where the teacher takes responsibility at the beginning of the lesson and gradually releases responsibility to pupils through group work and independent writing. Each page of the presentation include notes on how the lesson could be delivered. This includes a WAGOLL for the lessons writing. Each lesson also includes a success criteria to be stuck in at the top of the page for assessment purposes. This lesson has been used to prepare for Year 6 writing moderation.
