This PowerPoint covering two full lessons (with independent learning activities) will allow you to teach a broad range of abilities about using renewable and non-renewable energy resources to generate electricity.

The lesson is in keeping with the current KS3 UK National Curriculum, is easily accessible for students and simple to follow for teachers. Make sure you download the record sheet and info cards, in addition to the PowerPoint, that are part of this package.

This is one of several lessons that I offer for free so users can sample my work before deciding whether to pay for further resources. The other free lessons that I offer are detailed in the attached document “Year 7 Science lessons checklist”. If you find these lessons useful, please leave constructive reviews and take a look at the many discounted bundles that I offer across KS3 and KS4.

Fantastic resource! I've only taught this topic at year9 level so having a basic version for my year 7 class is really useful. Good resource and will be using other lessons you've made in future

Thank you for putting the check list for topics. I got all the resources you have done until now and they are great, very useful, clear and with good activities. I am looking forward to get the other topics, you are developing this year. I delivered already 7E and I really missed your well organised and excellent presentations. Thanks

Thank you for sharing for free. This is a nice way to deliver this topic and will hopefully improve the presenting skills of some of my students!
