This EAL pack of resources for Science, suitable for KS2 and KS3, supports learners in both understanding and speaking about the concept of scientific method.
The resources utilise a number of effective EAL strategies: a graphic organiser, a matching activity, image-based flashcards and a group speaking activity (including opportunities to translanguage / use learners’ first language) where learners arrange stages of real life scientific investigation in order according to the scientific method order.
