Simple Circuits SUPPLEMENTARY GCSE Physics

Part I of a short series of slides for GCSE Physics students, aimed at addressing knowledge gaps from Key Stage 3. Each set of supplementary slides features a short reteach, a check phase and some written questions. They are designed to be inserted into normal lessons and aim to take less than 10 minutes each to complete.

This resource introduces simple circuits refreshing key vocabulary such as component, potential difference and current, reminding students of the difference between conductors and insulators and establishing the principle that a circuit needs to be complete.
