In this activity, students will gain an understanding of the home front in Australia during World War One. They will develop an awareness of the effects of World War I on Australian society such as the role of women, political debates about conscription, relationships with the British Empire, and the experiences of returned soldiers.

It has 13 questions for students to answer, as well as a paragraph response section for them to demonstrate their understanding of the topic.
