This creative assembly looks at the big difference an unusual gift of a pair of shoes made to Abeda Banda from Zambia. The assembly asks pupils to think about all we receive at Christmas and consider things we take for granted. There are also lots of shoe-per ideas to raise money to buy unusual gifts from Present Aid, Christian Aid's ethical gift shop.

A nice interactive christmas assembly which encourages students to think about gift-giving, consumerism, the value of education and the benefits ethical presents can bring to poor communities around the world. Suitable for KS3.
