The aim of this activity is to get children interested in trees, and the life that trees support, and begin to be aware of the differences between trees. For this activity you will need to collect leaves and other tree parts for the children to investigate, and a magnifying glass to study them. You can also download a free tree identification guide and other free resources from the OPAL website @ www.opalexplorenature.com. Find more activities @ www.britishscienceassociation.org/creststar

Really engaging resource! Ideal to develop inquisitive thinking and the senses, as well as for teaching about plants. Thanks for sharing!
