This resource has been created for Holocaust Memorial Day, in partnership with Stand Up! Education Against Discrimination. It is aimed at secondary age students, and can be used in Citizenship, RE, History, English, or as part of your Holocaust Memorial Day school activities.

It explores issues of discrimination and persecution in Nazi-occupied Europe, during the Holocaust, and the Genocide in Rwanda. Students will analyse examples of propaganda and discuss how propaganda works. It provides opportunities to discuss prejudice today, including antisemitism, anti-Muslim hatred and online abuse. It provides guidance on what to do if you are a victim of or witness to hatred and prejudice.
