ESOL Entry 1 Lexicogrammar Reference Document

A reference document of the vocabulary and grammatical structures ESOL students need to learn at Entry 1 level.
Vocabulary items are my own compilation based on 25 years of teaching, noticing and collecting the language which naturally comes up in class at this level.
Structures are from the core curriculum.
Items are grouped by communicative function, e.g. ‘express likes’.
Please note this has been created for teachers to help plan individual lessons and sequences of learning, as the ESOL Core Curriculum does not specify vocabulary items. This is NOT intended to be given to students.
