This PowerPoint explains and demonstrates how to work out key signatures. It avoids the 'Circle of 5ths' method and keeps things a lot more simple, with just using just two methods to work out the sharps and flats. The PowerPoint starts with the Key Signatures that are needed to be identified and then goes through the method of working them out. Then there is a couple of slides to test their knowledge. Any questions, please ask! I hope that this is a helpful resource!

Attractively presented worksheets, thank you - but, as we all do, the author ended up with a "you just have to know this) moment (F major key sig) that doesn't fit the pattern… I recently learned a rhyme which, when said in a Scottish accent, makes sense! "If sharps there be, the last is Ti, If flats there are, the last is Fa" (Did I mention I was at a Kodaly course?)
