This is a fun, more creative way to introduce your class/pupil(s) on how to answer inference questions. It has different aspects to it, including inferring from pictures and from the first chapter of novels.
A key message is backing up your answer with evidence. This is practiced by repeatedly asking pupils what they know in comparison to what they guess/infer/assume. This enables them to easily find quotes and back up written answers which will help them in the SATS and other examinations.
