Maths, Fraction amounts of objects, Year 3 or 4, Lower ability Year 5 and 6

Hi all,

Here is a teaching sequence sheet for finding fraction amounts of objects.

I’ve created this because my class found it difficult to find a basic fraction once the amount of objects became multiples of the denominator.

I’ve only differentiated two different ways to start with… I’ll see how it goes!

Both sheets are completely editable so you can add or change the fraction or amounts, or you can change the numerator.

Please review this for me. It takes ages to create the sheets from scratch and feedback is always useful.
