Punch the Macaque – Choice Task Mat (P7 / Second Level)

This resource is a choice-based task mat built around the real-life story of Punch the macaque, focusing on empathy, kindness, belonging, and media literacy.

It includes a range of short, purposeful tasks such as:
• descriptive writing (one powerful moment)
• reflective writing about kindness
• discussion and analysis of belonging and acceptance
• a media literacy task linked to the IKEA advert
• creative tasks (drawing and design)
