Rasputin was neither mad nor a monk. This case study on Rasputin examines how his influence undermined support for Tsarism. The Powerpoint entitled 'Rasputin: Harbinger of Destruction&' provides a basic framework with some key questions raised. Teachers may wish to provide students with a separate biography of Rasputin. The worksheet examines the famous photographs and written sources and provides students with some skills-based activities such as cross-referencing. Designed for GCSE level but may be suitable for weaker A Level/IB students.
