The muddy pig number game is a simple interactive whiteboard teaching and learning Maths game to develop early number skills.
Children are presented with a pig on each slide and invited to say how many mud spots they can see on each pig. Children identify the correct answer card that matches the number of mud spots presented on the pig. This resource can be used in whole class teaching to develop early perceptual and conceptual subitising skills. The game can lead on to group activities where children work in pairs and roll a die and place the corresponding number of mud spots on their pig.
