This resource was originally designed for use with Postgraduates entering the conservation industry, often coming from a general biology background with little practical experience in conducting vegetation surveys.
Over the last 20 years it has been updated to suit the needs of educators who themselves may be coming from similar backgrounds, but need to teach post-16 students a range of techniques.
This is not an exhaustive recipe for getting sampling “right” but should be of use in a range of situations.
