**CAN WE SHARE MORE TO HELP MORE INFANTS? ** #parents #childcareproviders #teachers Wizzy’s Words book of rhymes and associated #freeresources are now being used in many areas of the UK and in other countries across the world. The resource is being used to support preschool and early years children with typical and less typical development. (See the selection of reviews) RE-VISITING THE AIM OF WIZZY’S WORDS I am Jacqueline E Alexander | UK based | Early years teacher/researcher/author of research-based Wizzy’s Words book of rhymes and its associated free resources (developed in response to follow up research) | A social non-profit initiative to address an ongoing language gap that continues to leave 25% of infants ‘behind’. Nursery rhymes are a great under-used, educational, universal, learning and development resource. Traditional rhymes are great. I re-wrote rhymes to incorporate the key oral vocabulary that is associated with successful early and ongoing learning. The rhythm perception that evolves from sharing rhymes with infants is another key indicator for ongoing, successful development and learning. Furthermore, sharing, increasingly challenging nursery rhymes with infants promotes development in all of the areas of child development. Wizzy’s Words rhymes are not designed to replace our fabulous, traditional rhymes and picture books but to be used alongside them. Being an early years teacher and researcher, the rhymes can be linked to all areas of the early years curriculum for indoor and outdoor development and learning. **A QUICK REQUEST PLEASE FEEL FREE TO REVIEW AND SHARE THE BENEFITS OF WIZZY’S WORDS WITH OTHER PARENTS AND EDUCATORS THE MORE WE ALL SHARE - THE MORE WE ALL CARE To find out more about the story of Wizzy’s Words and the research it is based on visit www.wizzyswords.co.uk and/or https://wizzyswords.co.uk/blog/52/the-story-of-wizzys-words-book-of-rhymes-now-including-ael-freeresources/ Wizzy’s Words | 70 #earlylearning rhymes for today | 0 to 5+ | Published by Troubador Link for all Wizzy’s Words AEL #freeresources on Times Ed Resources platform https://www.tes.com/member/Jaxxie
