3-4 weeks worth of lessons around the film les choristes. It includes describing clothing and personalities, future tense and film review. The booklet was made from several 'les choristes' resources on tes + my own ides to link the sessions together. The ppt are in order with what activity to do and how much of the film to watch. I have also attached a slightly differentiated booklet for lower ability with extra help when doing writing

Set of pictures representing some French expressions. When I used them, the pupils were in groups and had to think about the pictures and the text :What does it mean, what could be the expression behind it?. Most of them are in the infinitive, pupils wrote sentences using 'Je', reinforcing present tense ending. Then reporting to the class. other activities can be down around. I hope this is useful

As starter, make them listen to old technology noises and let them guess. pupils to compare technologies from past, present, using the imperfect, then draw and describe the technology of the future. I printed and laminated the slides so they could do it as a group.

first lesson on music, all the genres+ adjective to describe songs. + game on music. The listening and reading are from French AS AQA book the song from the Daft Punk did not upload. apologise for that. easy to download from youtube.

Group project to raise awareness of French in the world. Children to research a specific French speaking country in groups. They are working on their collaborative skills and setting themselves homework and deadlines. Homework attached which they write their ideas on.

very detailed booklet on 'les choristes' from differents resources find on TES. Used it to watch in class at end of topic then pupils had to write a detailed critic.

5 weeks worth of film/lesson for KS2 in relation with school topic. I did a lesson on conjugating ETRE and AVOIR before. One page of the booklet is on describing the characters (no film during that time) Next to each chapter I have put when to stop the film. My lessons are 45 min a week, therefore had to cut some part of the film to fit it all in.

Lesson on family members/ introducing mon-ma-mes. Made up from some other TES resources and modified them slightly. The reading exercice (last 3 slides) is for the children to create a family tree from the information they read (differentiated BA/MA/HA)

very simple reminder on tenses (present, past, futur) and when to use them that can be put in class or given to student.
