This is a mix of three other resources I have found and adjusted for teaching an introduction to contractions with a mixed ability year 2 class.
The accompanying lesson plan just shows in more detail how I taught the lesson which lasted half an hour (just contractions NOT possession) but how it could expand into both contractions and possession.
