Students revise for FAT (formative assessment task), stick in book and peer mark. Then are given Random Assessment Task, without warning at a later date. We developed these across the dept and found them very useful to find weaknesses and inform planning. These were written for use during revision for B1 exam but could be used earlier. We aimed them at areas that commonly come up in B1 exams.
