slightly biased. The powerpoint although informative, will give pupils a very negative picture of NI. Even in the 1970s, there were a large number of people that spoke out against what was happening - it might be useful to look at the rise of the civil rights movement and some events of the late 60s to help pupils understand the republican/nationalist view displayed by some of the charachters - Brian Rafferty for instance. It is also worth noting that NI society has changed significantly - although there are pockets of sectarianism - almost all of us reject this - 85% of parents now want Integrated education for their children for instance.
