What does this activity include?

  • Example setting description with matching picture.
  • Contrasting pictures as inspiration for children to write their own description ( Icy landscape, Landfill site)
  • Finally children create their own setting using a picture, drawing or magazine cutting for inspiration. Children describe the setting and include the 5 senses in their description.

This resource can be printed and used as a worksheet, or shared digitally and used as a guide.
