Run a STEM club at your school? Looking for a fun, hands on, six week scheme of work to run during your club? This certified, six week pilot STEM dog club for KS3 students aims to develop an understanding of dogs and the science behind them. From working through experimental skills and investigation, risk evaluation and making predictions, students discover key facts behind their canine friends. By the final week, the group develop a student-led plan to share their learnings across the school and wider community.

With an estimated 11 million* pet dogs in the UK, and with dogs being such a hot topic in the press recently, this innovative pilot club tackles some very current topics relevant to all young people.

Simply download the lesson plan and presentation for each of the six sessions, gather a couple of simple resources, and be one of the first STEM clubs in the UK to teach this unique self led package.
