Well done . I taught, worked informally in a youth club setting and then studied in Stoke about 25 years ago. There was real tension back then ( in Trent Vale ) between Asian and White students. I am from Birkenhead and was seen as an exotic outsider in a fairly closed community. I remember people turning around and staring when I opened my mouth in public places. I had similar experiences when I moved to Sunderland later on im my career !

This acount of the situation now sounds really grim, especially the BNP involvement. Well done for trying to tackle such deep seated issues. Keep up the valuable work.

Peter

Peter
