This 90 minute lesson is designed to take students from no knowledge of the medieval church through to them being able to answer the main investigation question ‘Why was the Medieval Church so Important to People in England?’. Students will work through a logical enquiery using a combination of sources, videos and practical demonstrations to see what role the church played in medieval people’s lives.
