Designed to support students with wider listening and comparison of set works for the new 2016 Music A Level. This can be used alongside any set work or wider listening piece.
Students should fill in the table, writing down first what they know about the set work you are using, organising their points under each element of music.
Then they do the same for each wider listening piece, using the prompts on the sheet to write down ideas about how each element of music is used.
This should enable students to compare pieces more closely and provide them with more examples to draw on for the 30 mark essay question.
