In this activity, students will delve into experiences of prisoners of war (POWs) during World War II, exploring how their treatment varied depending on the capturing country, their rank, and the evolving circumstances of the war. The lesson will also examine the role of international laws like the Geneva Convention, humanitarian organizations like the Red Cross, and the ethical dilemmas and challenges that arose in the context of POW camps.

It has 15 questions for students to answer, as well as a paragraph response section for them to demonstrate their understanding of the topic.
