LO: to recognise and use passive verb forms.
Revises the meaning of subject and object; presents passive form of verbs; gives practice in spotting and using passive verbs. Introduces the term "passive voice" (in the powerpoint; not mentioned on the worksheet.)
The worksheets can be used in a lesson or for homework.
The more advanced version (marked "HA") includes an activity that can be offered to quick finishers as an extension: writing a paragraph that includes active and passive-verb sentences.
The lesson is designed for KS3, but should be OK for a year 6 class or a year 5 "top" English set.

Fantastic material! I had to change the pictures of the white happy kids and the one black one with the phrase "I got nicked ..." I took off that wording, as well, as the kids I teach would not understand or appreciate that vocabulary. Thank-you!

This is very useful because it deals with active and passive verbs in a clear way by using a series of 'steps' through the process of identifying and using verbs in sentences. Thank you for sharing.
