ALEXANDER FLEMING and PENICILIN
Alexander Fleming was a Scotish youth in a remote country place.
His gifts were recognized and he was promoted by the educational
system. Then when he became a doctor, his talent was recognized and he
was aided to get a research position.
It was there that he noticed that a certain mold killed germs
about it on a culture dish. He isolated the agent: Penicilin.
This was a game changer. Before a minor cut could led to a major
infection and death. With the drug, an injection often ended the
infection and cured the person. And the drug was made available in
qualtity in ww2 saving countles lives!
Thank-you English educational system. Thank-you Alexander Fleming who was recognized and honored for his achievement during his lifetime.
