AQA English Language GCSE Speech Writing Level 6-9

In this resource, you will receive:

1. a mini AQA Marking Grid (in student-friendly terms) on A5 and
2. 4 example speeches at levels 6-9.

All four examples are a persuasive speech based on the AQA English Language Formal Writing Task mark sheet with a target audience of their peers on eating healthily. Each essay makes different points and in different ways.

This could be a cover lesson, homework assignment or in-class addition to your scheme of work. You can also remove the bands from the pages and let the students decide for themselves as they critique the speeches and edit them - and perhaps write their own ideas!
