These are a “front-sheet” I developed for my staff to use when covering the questions across all four papers as a way to cut down lengthy marking processes; ideally, a member of staff would annotate the students responses and, upon reading that feedback, the students would fill in this sheet.

We found that having “banned” words/statements on the board was helpful and, for more higher ability students, we would ask them to cite which part of the teacher’s comments had prompted their written response.

We covered Macbeth and An Inspector Calls, however, these sheets can be easily altered to use with any of the texts. You could also change the "next steps" section into a re-drfating activity and, instead of 'what went well' and 'even better if', you could give them other goals/targets or tasks.
