Want to teach some Australian history in a fun way? This is an Australian timeline that's drawn to scale. On one edge of the worksheet, it shows how Aborigines used symbols to represent things. Incorporating this knowledge, children are to draw symbols/pictures to represent events as written about on the timeline. I've included an example of how to fill one in to give you the idea. Blow the worksheet up to A3 for children to have enough space for their pictures. Worked a treat when I used it.
