This lesson allows learners to explore the music of a gay artist, using the music video to understand the context of the lyrics. Learners will play the chord sequence of the song either rhythmically or arpeggiated. They will also practice singing as part of an ensemble. The lesson as written assumes students have done some prior work on definitions of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans, though this is included in the starter activity for the lesson.
