Have an input with examples before this sheet. Children must choose the correct punctuation to end the sentence. Then they make up their own examples. The choices are a full stop, question or exclamation mark. I included some exclamation sentences that start with a ‘How’ or ‘What’. Children may mix these up with question marks as they are question words usually so do stress the difference. The exclamation does not need an answer. A challenge is to look at how sometimes you could use a ! or full stop depending on the sentence and context/how it is said.
