This is an activity I created for my students as part of an introduction into the new HL internal assessment. This is not a comprehensive guide to structuring the students’ commentary, but it gives them ideas to work with and then this will be developed in future lessons.
It is based on Fahrenheit 451, but can be adapted to other books.
The description of the structure of the oral commentary is lifted and slightly adapted from the Language B guide.
