Mini KS3 Astrophysics bundle

3 lessons: Aimed at KS3 but could be transferred to KS4 lessons depending on GCSE specification.

• Life cycle of a star - making a storyboard/poster
• The sun and the solar system - split the class into groups giving them a planet each to make a model and poster to present to the class
• Exoplanet detection and models of the universe - Person bingo! and designing your own exoplanet

For these lessons you will need paper, coloured pens/pencils. Other materials are optional for the more creative activities.

The “Life cycle of a star” and “The sun and the solar system” lessons are linked by a starter but this can be changed.

Students said they enjoyed these lessons and found them creative.
