Based on the book Owl Babies by Martin Waddell. Includes longer answer questions; cloze procedures; simple sentence construction etc. Use 'Boxing up' sheets first to ensure the children understand the main themes and events in the story. A really nice story and there are many resources to help to deliver it and teach a whole topic around it. Use lots of talk for writing ideas.
