Key stage 3 ~ year 9 ~ First of a two-part lesson on Vaccines. Click here for part 2: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/-12825545. In this lesson pupils will explain why we have vaccines and describe different ways that vaccines can be administered. They will learn about the work of Edward Jenner; an English doctor who helped to develop smallpox vaccination and to make the practice mainstream.

Extension questions are included on the slides and there is a pick and mix of different tasks to select from for your students. Follows the Activate 3 KS3 course.
